Account & support

Account, help and support

Use your account settings to keep your basic profile information current and manage your Swell session.

If you need help completing a business process, search the Help Centre using the task you are trying to perform.

Where the documentation does not resolve the issue, use Request help to contact Swell Support. Include enough information for the problem to be understood without sharing passwords, access codes or unnecessary sensitive information.

Update your profile

Your display name appears in assignments and activity. Keep it recognisable to colleagues and update it when your name changes.

How to update your profile

  1. Select your name in the header.
  2. Edit your display name.
  3. Select Save profile.
  4. Contact support if your sign-in email needs changing; it is read-only in Profile.

Sign out

Sign out when you have finished, particularly on a shared or managed device. Closing a tab may not end the signed-in session.

How to sign out

  1. Select Sign out in the header.
  2. Confirm that the Swell sign-in page appears.
  3. Close the browser when using a shared computer.

Find help

Search for the task you are trying to complete, such as approving an AI use, responding to an information request or reporting an incident.

Use the topic pages when you need to understand how one task fits into a wider business process.

How to find help

  1. Open the Help Centre.
  2. Enter a term such as approval, incident, owner, specialist, risk, reassessment, initiative or invitation.
  3. Open the matching guide and section.
  4. Use On this page to jump within a longer guide.

Request help

Use Request help when you cannot complete a task, a page is not working as expected or you need clarification that the Help Centre does not provide.

Describe what you were trying to do, what happened and what you expected. Include the relevant record reference when needed, but do not send passwords, access codes or unnecessary sensitive information.

How to request help

  1. Select Request help on the Help Centre home or at the end of a guide.
  2. Describe the task you were trying to complete and the page or status you reached.
  3. Include the AI use or record reference only when needed.
  4. Do not paste passwords, access codes or unnecessary sensitive governance content.
