Pricing

Transparent organisation-level pricing.

Swell is licensed annually per organisation rather than by individual user. All published prices are AUD excluding GST.

One subscription. No per-user licence count.

The commercial value is the maintained governance method and board-assurance workflow, not seat scarcity.

Swell AI Governance — Standard

For commercial, education, care, professional-services and other organisations.

A$9,750per year · ex GST

Annual organisation licence covering the core governance workflow and board reporting.

Swell AI Governance — Eligible NFP

For eligible Australian charities and not-for-profit organisations.

A$2,750per year · ex GST

The same core product at a deliberately reduced sector price; not a cut-down edition.

Annual fees are invoiced in advance. NFP eligibility is confirmed before contracting.

A spreadsheet can be perfectly adequate.

If you have a handful of low-risk, stable AI uses, one governance owner and an annual review, a dedicated platform may add unnecessary cost.

Swell becomes valuable when the work becomes recurring and distributed: multiple accountable owners, sensitive or high-impact uses, supplier evidence, approvals, conditions, periodic reviews, material changes and management or board reporting.

The product is priced as a governance system, not a collection of add-ons.

The honest buying questions.

Can't we do this in Excel or SharePoint?

Yes. Swell is worthwhile only when maintaining approval routes, evidence, reminders, framework content, change history and board reporting internally costs more in time and assurance effort than the subscription.

Australia does not have one general AI Act. Why buy this?

Correct. Swell is not a fictional licence to comply. It helps management run a structured governance process across existing obligations, guidance, internal policy and board oversight.

We already use ServiceNow, OneTrust or Protecht.

If your existing platform can deliver the workflow economically, use it. Swell is aimed at organisations where enterprise GRC configuration is disproportionate.

Can deterministic rules understand our legal risk?

No rules engine can replace specialist judgement. Swell performs consistent triage, creates evidence and review requirements and routes higher-impact matters to people with the right accountability.

What if we do not know all our AI uses?

Start with an attested baseline and record unknown or suspected uses. Governance should make gaps visible rather than claim completeness that management cannot support.
